The job
At each CVS store you deep-clean the reach-in and walk-in coolers and freezers: inside and outside glass, door handles, framing and seals, spills on shelves and racking, the floor, walls and vents inside each unit, and the tile in front of the coolers. Each store is cleaned once, between now and Friday, November 20. Stores are grouped into routes near each other, so you can take one store or a whole route.
Every store comes with an official work order. When you're done, the manager on duty prints their name, signs and dates it, and adds your arrival and departure times. You upload it with before and after photos and the make, model and serial number of each unit.
What you need
- A smartphone with a camera
- The free Connecteam app, where you claim stores and upload photos and paperwork
- Reliable transportation to the stores on your route
- A completed W-9 (you work as an independent contractor)
- A bank account for direct deposit
Insurance is recommended but not required.
Pay
Pay is a fixed rate per store, set by state, plus $5 per store for supplies.
When you're paid: by direct deposit, 40 days after each store's paperwork is accepted. For example, a 9-store route in Missouri is $495, paid in one deposit.

How to know it's really us
- Our emails always come from an @knightcleanent.com address.
- You never pay us anything: no fees, deposits, equipment or training costs.
- We will never ask for your bank password, a gift card, or money sent by app.
- We only ask for your bank account and routing number on the direct deposit form in our app, so we can pay you.

Is this a job or contract work?
Contract work. You're an independent contractor, you choose your days, and you handle your own taxes. That's why we ask for a W-9.
Why is payment 40 days after the paperwork?
These are commercial contract terms. The date is fixed: 40 days after a store's paperwork is accepted, the money is deposited. Clean a full route and it arrives in one deposit.
Do I need my own supplies?
Yes. You get $5 per store toward supplies on top of your rate. Bring glass cleaner, an all-purpose cleaner, microfiber cloths, a scrub brush, a plastic scraper for spills, a 2-inch dry paintbrush for the vents, a broom, and a mop and bucket. Never spray liquid into the vents.
Can I take just one store?
Yes. You can take a single store or a whole route; most contractors take a route because the stores are close together.
What if I need to change a date?
Call or text Alicia in dispatch before the scheduled day. Every store must be finished by November 20.
